LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team moved to 16-0 on the season with a 74-67 win over Central Arizona Tuesday in the Southern Nevada Basketball Tournament.
The Golden Eagles benefitted from an outstanding performance from
Kandiss Barber. The sophomore, who transferred to CSI from Central Arizona, lit up the court with a 33 point-11 rebound performance.Â
Brianna Osorio added 14 points and six rebounds. Osorio knocked down three 3-pointers. No other Eagle finished with double digits in scoring but they didn't need to with Barber hot from the field.
CSI trailed 36-27 at the half. But a 47-point second half helped the Eagles pull away. CSI, 16-0 overall, plays Eastern Arizona Wednesday at 4 p.m.
