TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team shot close to 50 percent from the field Saturday to take down Chemeketa CC 91-65 in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
The Golden Eagles dominated the first half, leading 48-23.
CSI beat Chemeketa on the scoreboard but it was due to the fact that they did a good job beating them on the boards and in sharing the ball.
The Eagles out-rebounded the Storm 51-40, led by 13 from
Pape Diatta. They also finished with 23 assists,
Shaq Carr posting 10 of those with
Ar'Mond Davis adding six.
CSI players in double digit scoring included Carr (15),
Marquis Godfrey (12), Diatta (18),
Geno Artison (10) and
Gloire Biongo (10).
The Golden Eagles improve to 6-1 overall. CSI will host the Wright PT/ICCU Tournament next week.
