SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - After falling behind by two points with four seconds to go in the game, CSI's
Shaq Carr took the ball the length of the court and dished off to
Quincy Taylor who hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give CSI the 75-74 win over Casper Saturday.
The Golden Eagles trailed much of the first half and the second half but each time found a way to be up one going into the locker room at the half and after the game.
Darryl Gaynor led CSI with 14 points.
UC Iroegbu added 12.
Shaq Carr,
Pape Diatta and
Geno Artison each had 11 points. Diatta added 14 rebounds and Artison added 10.
But no points were as big as Taylor's 3-pointer. Tayor finished the game with five points and six rebounds for the Eagles.
CSI, now 4-1 overall, hosts the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational next Friday and Saturday.
