SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The top-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team lost its first game of the season Friday, falling to Western Nebraska 97-85 in the Salt Lake Challenge.
The Golden Eagles were not in sync all game, trailing 44-38 at the half.
CSI shot just 43.5 percent from the field and 28 percent from the 3-point line.
Darryl Gaynor led the Eagles with 25 points. Papa Diatta added 14 points and nine rebounds.
Shaq Carr finished the game with 13 points and five assists.
The Golden Eagles take on Casper at 5 p.m. Saturday. Casper fell to Salt Lake 87-77 on Friday.
