RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat Colorado Northwestern 25-20, 25-15, 29-31, 25-16 Saturday to secure a second straight Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title.
One day after CNCC pushed Salt Lake CC to five sets before falling, the Spartans put up a good fight against the Golden Eagles.
"We had 17 errors in game three and you can't win when you do that," said CSI Head Coach
Heidi Cartisser. "The team fought back and finished strong."
Kendall Brock led the Eagles with 18 kills and three blocks.
Alycia Wodke added 14 kills and 19 digs.Â
CSI will host the Region 18 Tournament Nov. 6-7. The Golden Eagles will be the top seed in the tournament and will not play until Saturday morning.
