SHERIDAN, Wyo. - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team defeated Sheridan College 80-67 Saturday in day two of the Sheridan Tournament.
The Golden Eagles took an 18-point lead into the locker room at the half and then coasted.
Kandiss Barber again had a solid night, finishing with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Matti Ventling knocked down three 3-pointers en route to a 17-point performance. She added six rebounds.
Alexia Mefi led the Golden Eagles on the boards wth 10.
After sitting out the first night with a sprained ankle, sophomore
Samantha Lubcke scored six points and pulled down six rebounds for CSI.
The Golden Eagles are off next weekend and then host the Coca Cola Classic the week after.
