TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho finished with a dominating performance Saturday in the Hilex Poly Invitational, beating Hillcrest Prep 138-82.
Eight different Golden Eagles scored in double digits on the night, while holding Hillcrest Prep to 37 percent shooting from the field.
Geno Artison and
Ar'Mond Davis finished with 23 points apiece, while Pape Diata added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Other players scoring in double figures included
Darryl Gaynor (11),
Shaq Carr (10),
Marquis Godfrey (10), UC Oroegbu (11) and
Austin Winegar (12).
Gaynor added eight assists and three steals.
CSI, now 2-0, travels to Las Vegas to play Impact Academy Nov. 5 and 6. The second night will be an exhibition game only and will not count on the Golden Eagles record.
