TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team struggled offensively and defensively Thursday, losing to 10th-ranked Salt Lake 91-52 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
No Golden Eagle scored in double figures and didn't have an answer for Shelby Richards who scored 33 points for the Bruins.
CSI starters accounted for just 18 of the Eagles points.
Ralena Phillips came off the bench to score 9 points for CSI, adding five rebounds. Matti Ventlin added eight points.
The Golden Eagles drop to 14-10 overall and 5-4 in the SWAC. CSI hosts Snow Saturday at 3 p.m.
