TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball bounced back from Thursday's loss to league-leading Salt Lake by downing 23rd-ranked Snow 69-53 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The win puts the Golden Eagles into a tie for second in the league with Snow and CSI holds the tiebreaker by virtue of beating them twice.
CSI's Elisabet Lopez-Sagrera dominated the game for the Golden Eagles, scoring 26 points to go with 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots. Teammate
Denajha Kie added 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The only other player in double-figure scoring for the Golden Eagles was
Samantha Lubcke, who finished with 12 points, six rebounds and two assists.
CSI improves to 15-10 overall and 6-4 in the SWAC.
The Golden Eagles host North Idaho Saturday at 3 p.m.
