TWIN FALLS - The matchup between #3 CSI MBB and USU Eastern was a far cry from their first meeting where CSI won by just one point. This time, it was all CSI as the Eagles beat USUE 88-56 to improve to 23-0 on the season.
Fredrick Edmond led the Golden Eagles with 17 points, adding five rebounds and five steals.
CSI forced 22 turnovers and out-rebounded USU Eastern 46-41.
Pape Diatta was high rebound for CSI with eight. He added seven points and two assists.
The Golden Eagles finished the game with 19 assists led by Tyson Smith with six and Shaq Carr with five.
CSI will host Salt Lake on Thursday and Snow on Saturday.
