COEUR D'ALENE - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team stayed with North Idaho most of the first half but watched the Cardinals put together a 6-point run to end the half and never look back, beating the Golden Eagles 90-59 Saturday.
CSI shot just 38 percent from the field compared to 51 percent for North Idaho. The Cardinals also outrebounded the Eagles 40-34.
Samantha Lubcke was a highlight for CSI, scoring 21 points to go with seven rebounds.
Holly Blades added 12 points and five rebounds.
The Golden Eagles, who host Colorado NW Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and USU-Eastern Saturday at 3 p.m., drop to 12-9 overall.
