COEUR D'ALENE - The third-ranked College of Southern Idaho improved to 21-0 with an 80-72 win over North Idaho in Scenic West Athletic Conference play Saturday.
The Golden Eagles led by just two points at the half but built on it behind a balanced Eagle attack.
Five players scored in double digits.
Fredrick Edmond led the way with 17 points to go with 10 rebounds for the double-double. Other players scoring in double figures included
Tyson Smith with 16 points,
Shaq Carr with 15 points,
Ar'Mond Davis with 12 points and
Keonta Vernon with 11 points.
The Golden Eagles shot 51 percent from the field.
CSI starts a four-week home stretch Thursday when the Eagles host Colorado Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. and USU-Eastern Saturday at 5 p.m.
