TWIN FALLS - The 3rd-ranked College of Southern Idaho volleyball team took three straight Friday and Saturday at the Western Wyoming CC Tournament, beating Colorado Northwestern 25-13, 25-11, 25-21; Central Wyoming CC 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21; and 10th-ranked San Jacinto 25-11, 25-17, 25-17.
Against San Jac,
Natasa Savovic led the Eagles with 11 kills.
Katarina Kojic finished with 16 assists.
In the Central Wyoming match, three CSI players finished with double-digit kills.
Chloe Watson had 15,
Kendall Brock had 11 and Savovic added 10. Brock also dominated at the net with seven blocks.
CSI will be tested this weekend when the Eagles travel to Salt Lake for a tournament. The Golden Eagles open with 16th-ranked Northeastern Friday at Noon, followed by 2nd-ranked Iowa Western at 2 p.m. On Saturday, CSI plays 4th-ranked Arizona Western at 11 a.m. and 7th-ranked Western Nebraska at 1 p.m.
