RANGELY, Colo. - The 19th-ranked College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team fell to USU-Eastern Thursday 83-78 but rebounded to take the 82-54 win over Colorado Northwestern CC Saturday, moving to 2-1 in the conference standings.
Elisabet Lopez-Sagrera keyed the Eagles in both contests, finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds against USU-Eastern and 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists against Colorado.
Samantha Lubcke also played solid all weekend, scoring 10 points and pulling down 10 rebounds with four assists against the Golden Eagles of Price and finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists against the Spartans.
CSI, now 10-5 overall , has a break until December 28th and 29th in Henderson, Nev. at the Southern Nevada Tournament. The Golden Eagles will play Seward County at 6 p.m. MST on the 28th and Eastern Arizona at 3 p.m. MST on the 29th.
