TWIN FALLS - Through the first four weeks of the 2014-15 season, the College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team remains perfect at 8-0, beating Treasure Valley 85-54 Saturday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
The Golden Eagles held the Chukars to just two points in the first 10 minutes of game with a stifling defense. For the game CSI forced Treasure Valley into 31 turnovers.
Fredrick Edmond again led CSI in scoring with 20 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.Â
Tyson Smith put up an impressive line with 16 points, five rebounds, six assists and seven steals, while
Pape Diatta posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
At halftime, fans paid tribute to our US Military honoring them at midcourt with a standing ovation.
The Golden Eagles host the Wright Physical Therapy/ICCU Tournament Friday and Saturday with the women's team.
In the earlier game, USU-Eastern defeated Planet Athlete 107-65.
