TWIN FALLS - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho remained undefeated Friday, beating Planet Athlete 102-62 in day one of the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
Fredrick Edmond put on a show in the first half for the Eagles, scoring 22 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. He finished the game with 32 points and 18 rebounds as well as four assists.
The Golden Eagles show 47 percent from the field and out-rebounded Planet Athlete 67-39.
Other players in double-digit scoring included
Ray Kasongo (12),
Uchenna Iroegbu (15) and
Kenrick Hudson (12). Hudson finished with a double-double, getting 11 rebounds.
CSI will play Treasure Valley at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Chukars lost to USU-Eastern 89-79 in the early game Friday.
