TWIN FALLS - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season, beating Impact Academy 147-68 Saturday in the Hilex Poly Invitational.
The Golden Eagles knocked down close to 60 percent of their shots but even more impressive was the unselfishness of the CSI players, dishing out 33 assists. Ryson Smith and
Uchenna Iroegbut each had eight.
Ray Kasongo finished the night with a double-double - 18 points and 13 rebounds. High scorer for the game was
Fredrick Edmond's 26 points. In all, six Golden Eagles posted double figure scoring. And every single player scored.
CSI, 2-0, travels to Yuma, Ariz. to play in the Arizona Western Tournament.
In the earlier game Saturday, Snow beat Salish Kootenai 94-54.
