TWIN FALLS - The #3 College of Southern Idaho swept USU-Eastern 26-24, 25-11, 25-22 and Colorado Northwestern 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 Friday and Saturday to remain undefeated in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. Golden Eagle Natasa Savovic earned her third SWAC Player of the Week honor.
Savovic led the Eagles with 22 kills and just four errors in the two match. She also had 14 digs and eight blocks.
Against USU-Eastern Alex Espinosa added six kills and 12 digs and Lepeka Kalulu-Sugai finished with 17 digs.
In the Colorado Northwestern match, Larissa Santos had seven kills and seven blocks.
CSI hosts #8 Snow College Thursday and #5 Salt Lake Saturday. Last weekend, Snow beat Salt Lake in five games at Snow.
Saturday's match with Salt Lake at 1 p.m. will be a black out so fans wear your black!
