PRICE, Utah - After clawing out a win over Snow College 76-72 Thursday in the Region 18 Tournament, the College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team lost to North Idaho 91-78 to dash its hopes of playing for the Region 18 Championship and advancing to the national tournament.
The Golden Eagles stayed with the Cardinals early, trailing just 44-43 at the half but the shots stopped falling in the second half for CSI and NIC pulled away.
Charles Odum led the Eagles with 19 points.
Kenny Buckner added 18 points and nine rebounds.
Against Snow,
Josten Thomas finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds to help the Golden Eagles advance to the second round.
CSI finishes its season with a 20-12 overall record and an 11-9 SWAC record.
