TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team defeated Salt Lake CC 65-57 Saturday, winning its third straight Scenic West Athletic Conference game.
The Golden Eagles struggled from the line all night but knocked down their last five of six, while Salt Lake, who had been money all night, missed its last four.
Josten Thomas led the Eagles with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The win takes CSI to 15-7 overall and 7-5 in conference play. The Golden Eagles are idle next weekend. They travel to CEU Feb. 5.
