RANGELY, Colo. - College of Southern Idaho redshirt freshman Carrick Felix finished 7 for 7 from the field and 5 for 7 from the free-throw line to lead the Golden Eagle men's basketball team to a 81-73 victory Friday over Colorado Northwestern CC.
Felix scored 19 points in the Scenic West Athletic Conference victory. Teammate Josten Thomas also was key as he finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles move to 2-1 in SWAC play and 7-3 overall. CSI plays CEU Saturday in Price, Utah.
