CASPER, Wyo. - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team fought back from two first-half deficits to beat Northwest College 90-75 and Casper College 73-59 Friday and Saturday at the Wells Fargo Tip-Off Classic.
The Golden Eagles were led by Carrick Felix, Josten Thomas and Charles Odum in the scoring column against Northwest. The three combined for 51 points and 18 rebounds. CSI trailed by as much as 19 points in the first half but came back with a huge run in the second half to push it to the final margin.
Against Casper, the Golden Eagles also trailed early and by three points at the half but were able to outscore Casper by 17 points in the second half to take the win.
Thomas scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the double-double. Felix again led CSI with 23 points.
The Golden Eagles host the Gordon Paving-Mountain West Components Invite Thursday, Friday and Saturday. CSI play at 8 p.m. each night.
