The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball program announced the hiring of Taliyah Clark to their coaching staff in August of 2026.
Clark brings a strong playing background and a passion for developing student-athletes to first year Head Coach, Brendan Wheeler's staff.
"From the moment we started talking, it was clear Taliyah was someone who shared our vision for this program," said Wheeler. "She's authentic, competitive, and passionate about helping young women reach their potential. She knows what it takes to succeed at the next level, and just as importantly, understands the daily commitment required to keep growing. I'm excited for our players to learn frm her and for the impact she'll have on the future of CSI Women's Basketball."
Clark spent her collegiate playing days as a member of the University of Texas at Arlington and at Seattle University, both NCAA Division-i programs. Clark finished her collegiate career with 1,206 career points, establishing herself as a versatile guard known for hre scoring ability and leadership. During her time at UT-Arlington, Clark recorded a career best 405 points, 128 rebounds, and 59 assists highlighting that versatility.
After concluding her time as a player, Clark shifted to a coaching role, as she served as a graduate assistant at NCAA Division-II Western Oregon University before joining the Golden Eagles in the Fall of 2026. Clark is passionate about mentoring student-athletes, building meaningful relationships and helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the College of Southern Idaho family," said Clark. "Coaching has always been my dream, and I'm very excited to invest in these student-athletes and help them to become the best versions of themselves, both as players and as people. I'm looking forward to learning, growing, and contributing to a program with such a rich tradition."
