Mikelle Magalogo begins her first season as the CSI Softball assistant. She played for CSI in 2017 and 2018, helping the Golden Eagles to a Region 18 Championship and highest finish ever at the National Tournament (7th). A catcher and first baseman, Magalogo played her last three years at SUU. As a sophomore at CSI she earned Region 18 First-Team accolades. The starting catcher at SUU, she helped the Thunderbirds to a second-place finish at the Big Sky Championships this past season. In 2019, she earned Big Sky All-Conference honorable mention honors, starting in every game for the Thunderbirds. Magalogo grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Copper Hills High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southern Utah University.
