Kylie Baumert

Kylie Baumert joins CSI Softball as a new face on the Golden Eagle coaching staff for the 2024-25 school year, but she is no stranger to CSI Athletics. A native of Twin Falls, Idaho, She began her playing career at the College of Southern Idaho in volleyball and softball, winning a national championship on the volleyball court. From there, she played volleyball at the University of Southern California in the Pac 12 and graduated with honors from USC with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Baumert returned to CSI to play her second season of softball, helping the Golden Eagles to a Scenic West Athletic Conference Championship, a Region 18 Championship and a ninth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament. She earned NFCA and NJCAA All American honors as well. Baumert finished her softball playing career at Boise State University in 2023. She was a member of the BSU team that won the regular season Mountain West Championship.
Baumert left her mark on CSI Athletics, finishing her career ranked seventh all time in batting average, first in runs scored, first in hits, sixth in home runs and eighth in RBI. On the volleyball court she holds records for most career digs and most digs per set as well as ranking third all-time in reception pct. She was a two-time Region 18 Libero of the Year and was named to the NJCAA National Championships All Tournament Team. 
This past year, she was a graduate assistant for Weber State University Softball and will finish up her master's degree in the spring of 2025 in Sport Coaching Leadership. 
Prior to her collegiate career, Baumert played volleyball, basketball and softball at Twin Falls High School, where she was a three-time Great Basin Player of the Year in Softball, a two-time Southern Idaho Player of the Year (Times-News) and a two-time Max Preps All-American.
