    Volunteer Men's Basketball Coach
Lester Stewart joined the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball program as a volunteer assistant coach in 2018.
Originally from Chicago, Ill., Stewart graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 2008. During the 2006-2008 years, he was a ISU Men's Basketball Student Assistant.
In 2008, Stewart started a basketball skill development training program called Trinity Hoops for school aged girls and boys.
From 2011 to 2017 he was a high school basketball coach, qualifying for state three times. In his his years at Sho-Ban, he won two district championships and was District 5 1A Division 2 Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2013. 
In 2015, he coached at Century High School, leading the team to a state consolation championship.
Stewart is currently working on his master's degree in human resource development. He is the father of two daughters, Riann and Jalin.
