Before CSI: Cody played baseball at Cherry Creek High School, leading his team to a state runner-up finish as a junior and a league championship and state championship as a senior.
A three-year varsity letterman, Cody's high school team was ranked in the top 25 in the nation for all three years.
As a senior, Cody hit .487 with .574 on base percentage.
