Biography

At CSI: Alcantara earned second-team Region 18 honors and then followed that up by being named the setter of the NJCAA National Tournament as well as making the all-tournament team.

Before CSI: Barbara, nicknamed Ba, came to CSI from Brazil, where she attended high school in Curitiba.
   She helped lead her team to seven state championships. In 2005 she was named the most valuable player in the Brazilian Championships.
   At the international championships, she earned the best setter award in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
