JEROME, Idaho - The CSI Men's Soccer team bounced back from their loss on Thursday, and got back in the win column with a big win over Pacific Northwest Christian on Saturday afternoon, blanking the Gladiators in the 6-0 victory.
The Golden Eagles got six goals from six different players in the victory, the first of which came from Adria Lledo Sampol, that opened the floodgates as Nicolas Anatoh and Wisdom Herrera each found the back of the night in the following seven minutes to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 lead.
In the second half, the Golden Eagles continued to attack as Edward Hill scored his third goal of the season, followed by Juan Porto Pascual in the 71st minute. Sophomore Wilf Doulgas added one final goal in the 89th minute, as the Golden Eagles ended up out shooting the Gladiators 34-2 in the win. Ilan Portejoie dished out a pair of assists, while Ben Owens, Louis Grundmann, and Jakob Hollon notched the rest of the teams five total assists.
