HELPER, Utah - The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat USU Eastern 22-4 and 14-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play Friday.
The Golden Eagles finished the day with 26 hits and six home runs.
Game one was all CSI.
Maile Ha'o was 3-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBI.
Jade Romero was 2-for-3 with a home run, triple and two RBI and
Camryn Guest was 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI.
Rilyne Keck was 2-for-2 with a home run and five RBI. The Golden Eagles also had four stolen bases.
Emerson Fuller got the win in the circle, pitching all five innings and giving up four runs on three hits with four strikeouts.
CSI jumped out to a 8-1 lead in game two and coasted until they added six more runs in the seventh.
KEck was 1-for-2 with three RBI. Romero hit another triple, going 1-for-2 and Ha'o was 3-for-4 with two RBI.
Anslie Yazzie finished with a home run and four RBI.
Marissa Mauger earned the win, pitching the first 6.2 innings and giving up five runs on five hits with six strikeouts.
Ella Farrell pitched the final out.
CSI plays USU Eastern twice more on Saturday.
