TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 25th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat Snow College 8-5 in game one and run ruled the Badgers 9-1 in game two Friday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI had two home runs in the first game which accounted for four of its runs. Archuleta was 2-for-4 with a home run and
Lexi Crowley was 1-for-2 with a home run.
Adi Hansen was 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and
Camryn Guest was 2-for-4 with a stolen base.
Jade Romero was 1-for-1 with two walks and a stolen base.
Emerson Fuller earned the win, pitching all seven innings and giving up five earned runs with six strikeouts.
The Golden Eagles added four more home runs in game two.
Maile Ha'o,
Lexi Crowley and
Jenna Ambrose each had a home run and Romero was 3-for-3 with a home run and two stolen bases.
Hansen finished 2-for-3 with two triples and Guest was 3-for-3 with a triple two stolen bases and two RBI.
Marissa Mauger pitched a one-hit win with eight strikeouts.
CSI, 26-11 overall and 17-5 in conference play, hosts Snow College for two more games on Saturday.
