TWIN FALLS, Idaho - For the second consecutive week, CSI Men's Soccer has captured the Scenic West Goalie of the Week honor as Pedro Moco Caridi made the most of his first career start, contributing to a 5-0 win over Truckee Meadows on Saturday.
The freshman from Brazil was fantastic on a day where the Golden Eagles were firing on all cylinders as he played all 90 minutes, keeping the Lizards off the scoreboard with a pair of saves.
The start was the first of Caridi's collegiate career and just his third appearance as he also logged time in the first match up with Truckee Meadows, making one save, and against Pacific Northwest Christian.
Fellow goalkeeper Lasse Brier was honored as Goalie of the Week previously, marking two straight weekly honors.
Caridi and the Golden Eagles now prepare for a pair of rematches against USU-Eastern on Thursday, and natinoally ranked Salt Lake on Saturday.
