TWIN FALLS, Idaho - CSI Women's Soccer Sophomore Defender
Alivia Marshall played an integral part in helping the Golden Eagles get two wins over nationally ranked opponents last week, as she has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Marshall started and played all 90 minutes in a pair of 1-0 shutout victories for the Golden Eagles. The Pocatello, Idaho native anchored a Golden Eagle defense that was stellar across the two games, allowing just eight shots on goal across 31 total shots, helping contribute to a pair of clean sheets.
The two wins helped the Golden Eagles to be in the drivers seat for their first postseason birth in program history, and gave them their third win against a ranked opponent on the season.
Marshall also celebrated Sophomore Day, marking her final home game in a Golden Eagle uniform, where she has been instrumental in her two years in the early years of the program, appearing in 29 games and starting 20 across her two seasons.
Marshall and the Golden Eagles now gear up to continue their postseason push, as they prepare to travel to Couer d'Alene on Thursday to take on in-state rival North Idaho College.
