TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The ninth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team lost its first Scenic West Athletic Conference game Saturday to USU Eastern 77-71.
The Golden Eagles struggled to stop USU Eastern's offense all game. The Eagles from price shot 48 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line and out-rebounded the Golden Eagles.
Savannah Stoker led CSI with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Ashley Garner added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Both
Samara Morrow and
Lea Nadolny each had three assists and combined for 14 points.
The win moves USU Eastern into first place at 5-0 in the conference. CSI, 18-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play, hosts CNCC and Salt Lake next week.
