JEROME, Idaho - Playing for the first time at Founders Park in Jerome, the College of Southern Idaho Women's Soccer Team took the 2-1 win over Casper College to open its season.
The Golden Eagles scored their first goal by
Alyssa Harris when she scored at the 11:35 mark on an assists from
Maya Robinson. CSI extended its lead, scoring at 47:22 on a goal by
Presley Houghton assisted by
Alivia Marshall.
Kirstine Kent finished the game, giving up just one goal and had four saves in the goalkeeper position.
CSI, 1-0, opens its Scenic West Athletic Conference season next Saturday, when the Golden Eagles host Truckee Meadows.
