TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The NJCAA sanctioned cheer for the first time this past year and the College of Southern Idaho Cheer squad took third in the nation on the court and also achieved in the classroom, posting a 3.42 GPA to earn NJCAA Academic Team honors.
The Golden Eagles had three individuals recognized as well.
Jaritza Granados finished the year with a 4.0 to make the NJCAA First Team, while
Jessi Hancock and
Sydni Visconti each posted a GPA between 3.80 and 3.99 to take home second-team honors.
CSI Cheer also competed in USA Nationals, finishing runner-up in two categories. The Golden Eagles will look to match their success this upcoming year.
