TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Cheer Team competed against Salt Lake CC Monday, falling to the Bruins 12-5.
The Golden Eagles fielded an all-women's team while the Bruins competed with a co-ed group.
In the first period of compulsory tumbling, the Golden Eagles tied in standing hand tuck and round-off tuck.
CSI won three categories in the compulsory/creative building period. CSI scored two points in creative pyramid sequence - one point for difficulty and one for execution. The Golden Eagles last point came in compulsory basket toss sequence.
The final period consisted of a compulsory routine that Salt Lake won.
The Golden Eagles next compete Dec. 2 at Salt Lake CC against the Bruins and Snow College.
