SPANISH FORK, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Rodeo Teams finished up the Rocky Mountain Region regular season Friday and Saturday at the Utah Valley University Rodeo.
While the Golden Eagle Men took third and the women placed second, the bigger accomplishment was having four individuals qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo in June.
Two men will compete in Bareback Riding.
Dahl Winters won the Regional Championship and
Coy Montgomery was the Reserve Champion. Also qualifying was Ashton Azbriskie in Bull Riding.
For the women,
Hailey Gibbs won the Rocky Mountain Region All Around. She will compete at the CNFR in Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying.
At the UVU Rodeo, Winters won the Bareback Riding and Montgomery was second. Two Golden Eagles also placed in Saddle Bronc Riding.
Christian Bolli and
Brock Briggs tied for fourth.
Gibbs won Breakaway Roping.
Hayden Corta placed sixth in Goat Tying and
Ella Begger was seventh.Â
