EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team made its free throws down the stretch to take down North Idaho College 92-91 Friday at the Region 18 Tournament.
The win sends the Golden Eagles into the Region 18 Championship game Saturday at 3 p.m.
With 48 second left in overtime and down 89-88 Dale Griffin made two free throws to give CSI the 90-89 lead. But North Idaho countered with a jumper to take the lead at the 22-second mark. Khayri Dunn was able to draw a foul with nine second to play and made both free throws to put the Golden Eagles on top for good as North Idaho missed a shot at the buzzer and Tanner Hayhurst secured the rebound and the win. 
Dunn also made the two free throws to end regulation that helped send CSI into overtime.
He finished the game with 19 points and six assists. Hayhurst was big all night as well, finishing with 19 points and six rebounds. Jalen Lyn added 13 points and Amarco Doyle had 11 points and six rebounds.
CSI will take on the winner of Snow College and Salt Lake CC at 3 p.m. Saturday for the Region 18 Title.
