TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho moved into a tie for first place atop the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings with a win Saturday over North Idaho 74-52.
Sophomores had a big part of the win on sophomore day.
Kayla Porray led the Golden Eagles with 22 points and three rebounds.
Kennedy Gillette finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists,
Mariah Mons had 10 points,
Falon Bedke had three points and five rebounds,
Alina Sapilak posted six steals and Kayla Kasabuchi had three assists.
A couple freshmen also had good games.
Savannah Stoker finished with 11 points and five rebounds and
Macie Brown had 10 rebouns and two blocks.
CSI, 21-7 overall and 9-4 in conference play, finish the regular season on the road against USU Eastern and Snow College.
