TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho took care of business Saturday, beating USU Eastern 15-2 and Treasure Valley 8-4 in non-conference action.
The Golden Eagles won via the run rule off three hits and 14 walks in the first game.
Jack Barker was 1-for-2 with a double and three RBI,
Crew Secrist was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI and
Kolton Hicks was 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBI.
Bryce Intagliata dominated on the mound, going all five inning in the win and giving up just one earned run on three hits with three strikeouts.
In game two, CSI took the 6-0 lead in the third inning on a
Mack Evans home run and then held on for the win.
Barker stayed hot, going 4-for-4 with a double and triple.
Kason O'Neil was 2-for-3 with a double and Evans was 2-for-3.
Mason Hartle got the win, pitching the first four innings and giving up just one earned run on four hits with nine strikeouts.
CSI, 11-8 overall, hosts Treasure Valley next week for a four-game series.
