TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team increased its defensive pressure late in the second half to beat Colorado Northwestern 86-75 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Spartans hit eight 3-pointers in the first half but in the second half the Golden Eagles held them to just four.Â
Isaac Hawkins came one block away from a triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks.
Khayri Dunn led CSI with 22 points along with eight assists, while
Amarco Doyle had 13 points and six rebounds.Â
Gerry Guerrero hit three 3-pointers for nine points and Tannyer Hayhurst posted eight rebounds.
Marcus Fizer Jr. came off the bench for eight points and six rebounds.
CSI, 20-7 overall and 8-4 in conference play, host North Idaho Saturday.
