GILLETTE, Wyo. - The 12th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team outscored Western Nebraska 32-15 in the second half to pull away for the 71-47 victory Saturday in the Gillette College Invitational.
The Golden Eagles were relentless on the boards, finishing with 52 compared to just 29 for Western Nebraska. Leading the way for CSI was
Ashley Garner with 17 points. She finished with a double-double, scoring 11 points as well.
Leading all scorers,
Savannah Stoker posted 24 points, five rebounds and two steals.
Ziah Greybull added six points, three rebounds and two steals.
Both
Lea Nadolny and
Samara Morrow each had three assists and
Chloe Jensen was steady with five points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
CSI, 13-0 overall, travels to Florida Dec. 16-17 where they will take on Tallahassee CC and #2 Chipola College.
