COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho scored goals in each half to beat North Idaho 2-1 in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The Golden Eagles scored first at the 10-minute mark on a goal by
Presley Houghton assisted by
Alyssa Harris. The Cardinals answered almost 25 minutes later to tie it up before the half.
Again CSI scored quickly in the second half four minutes in.
Jael Montalvo scored on a corner kick assist from
Alivia Marshall.
Defensively
Kirstine Kent was solid all game, giving up just the single goal and finishing with seven saves.
CSI, 6-2-3 overall and 5-2-3 in conference play, host Salt Lake CC and Colorado Northwestern in its final two regular season home games of the season.Â
