TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team hit some big shots at big times to beat Salt Lake CC 79-71 in overtime Wednesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles trailed 65-60 with 1:52 left in regulation until 
Khayri Dunn hit a layup at the 1:40 mark to pull within three. After forcing a turnover, CSI came down the court and Dunn tied the game with 1:02 to play on a 3-pointer. Neither team could take advantage of their remaining possessions, sending the game into overtime.
The overtime period was all CSI. Dunn scored the Golden Eagles first four points. With two minutes to play 
Nathan Ahner knocked down a 3-pointer to take CSI's lead to 72-67. After a 
Walker Timme Layup extended the lead to 74-67, Salt Lake had to start fouling. 
Tanner Hayhurst made 5-of-6 down the stretch to cement the win.
All five Golden Eagle starters were huge in the win.
Dunn finished with 18 points, four rebounds and four assists. Hayhurst had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Timme finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. 
Amarco Doyle posted 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks and Ahner had seven points, 10 rebounds and four assists. 
For the game, CSI out-rebounded Salt Lake 57-39.
The Golden Eagles, 14-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play, hosts Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
