CSI announces Andria Harshman as interim head volleyball coach

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The start of the 2024 volleyball season is a few weeks away and the College of Southern Idaho's Athletic Director Daequon Montreal has announced the hiring of Andria Harshman in the role of interim volleyball head coach.
Harshman moved to Twin Falls in 2018 and has been a part of the local volleyball scene since then. She was named the Twin Falls High School in the fall of 2018 and coached in a head coach capacity for three years. She also became the Club Director for Southern Idaho Volleyball Academy in 2018 and still serves in that position. While at Twin Falls HS, she led the Bruins to the state tournament in 2018, 2020 (4th place).
"We are excited to welcome Andria into the CSI Family as our interim head coach," Montreal said. "We appreciate her flexibility to jump in and coach this fall and we are grateful there was someone with her college experience and coaching caliber that could step into this role."
Prior to coming to Twin Falls, Harshman was the head volleyball coach at Grace College for seven years and then the head volleyball coach at NCAA Division II Colorado Christian University for two years.
In her first season at Colorado Christian (2015) she led the team to a 20-18 overall record. By year two, they improved to 27-11. They competed in the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament, making it all the way to the semifinals before being knocked out.
She also spent a season as a volunteer assistant coach at Notre Dame University in 2007-2008.
"I'm excited and honored to be coaching again at the collegiate level and be a part of a prestigious program such as CSI Volleyball," Harshman said. "Thank you to Athletics Director Daequon Montreal and President Dean Fisher for this opportunity and I'm looking forward to meeting and working with these amazing women athletes here in the next few weeks. Go Eagles!"
Harshman earned her bachelor's of science degree in mathematics from Grace College. She competed in volleyball and track during that time. She grew up in Silver Lake, Ind., and is married to Brian Harshman. They have two sons, Gaige and Titus.
