HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team dominated USU Eastern 5-0 Friday in a loser-out game at the Region 18 Tournament but ran out of steam against Southern Nevada, falling 13-3 to end its season.

Ashton Johnson kept the Eagles at Price at bay all game and made it easy on the CSI offense to secure the win against USUE.
Johnson pitched 7.1 innings, giving up no runs on six hits with five strikeouts.
Brennen Chappell pitched the final 1.2 innings, giving up no runs on no hits with two strikeouts.
Offensively,
Brody Duvall,
Kaden Schuck and
Colby Carter were all 2-for-4 at the plate.
Dax Newman was 3-for-5. Duvall,
Logan West, Carter,
Junior Garcia and
Cooper Sloan all had an RBI.
In game two, CSI jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first but CSN answered with eight runs in the first and two in the second to pull away quickly.
Duvall was 2-for-4, West was 2-for-2 with a double, Carter was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Garcia was 1-for-2 with two RBI.Â
The Golden Eagles used five different pitchers in the loss.
Garrett Miller had a strong four innings, giving up just one run on three hits with two strikeouts.
CSI ends its season 31-25 overall and 13-16 in conference play.
