COUER D'ALENE, Idaho - The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men faced a tough road game Saturday, falling to North Idaho 91-73 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
It is the first conference loss of the year for the Golden Eagles and they are still in first place with a one-game lead over Snow and the Cardinals.
CSI shot 41 percent from the field and 27 percent from 3-point range, while North Idaho was hot all night, shooting 53 percent from the field and 63 percent from long range. The Cardinals also outrebounded the Golden Eagles 35-29.
Jaylon Johnson led CSI with 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
Asim Jones added 16 points and
Britton Berrett and
Sam Phipps each had 10 points.
Shahid Muhammad finished with six blocks and five rebounds.
The Golden Eagles host Southern Nevada Thursday and Community Christian Saturday.
