TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team jumped out to a 20-4 lead and never looked back, beating Northeastern Junior College 74-44 Friday in the Wright Physical Therapy Shootout.
The Golden Eagles out-rebounded Northeastern 63-36.
Leading CSI was
Kennedy Gillette with 19 pts and seven rebounds.
Ashley Garner finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds and
Alina Sapilak had 10 points, six rebounds and three steals.
Falon Bedke posted six points and seven rebounds, while
Savannah Stoker had four points, nine rebounds and three steals.
CSI, 6-1 overall, takes on Columbia State Saturday.
