TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 12th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball looked strong to open the season, beating Yavapai 95-61 Friday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
Isaac Hawkins and
Nathan Ahner both posted double-doubles on the night. Hawkins finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Ahner had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Other scoring in double figures were
Amarco Doyle with 16 points and
Khayri Dunn with 17 points. Both
Tanner Hayhurst and
Cooper Kesler knocked down three 3-pointers for nine points apiece.
The Golden Eagles shot 51 percent from the field and 48 percent from long range. CSI also dominated the boards, pulling down 60 rebounds to just 33 for Yavapai.Â
